Helena Artmann has a bachelor degree in Communications and has been working in this field time enough to start her career contacting journalists through telex…
Helena created Artmann Communications in 2010. Since the clients keep coming, our door keeps open and we are happy to say that we are offering more and better services than ever!
A mountaineer since 1991 and passionate about nature and the great outdoors, Helena has more than 15 high altitude expeditions under her belt and has summited some of the highest mountains on Earth, including Denali, in Alaska, and Aconcagua, in the Andes. Helena was also a hot air ballooning navigator for championships around the world. When she is not working in her office facing the Rundle, she tries to be outside, showing her son some of the areas that make the Bow Valley such a special place to live!
in memoriam – Ricardo Barcellos had been working as a Graphic Designer for so long that he used to show his drawings on his portfolio. Yes, the ones designed by hand, on paper.
Ricardo was a Certified Graphic Designer, Society of Graphic Designers of Canada (GDC), and worked as the Production Manager at the Rocky Mountain Outlook newspaper.
Ricardo passed away at home on January 5th, 2013.
Fernando Murray Loureiro – Born in Brazil, I studied at the School of Fine Arts at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (EBA – UFRJ) from 1994 to 1998. As Designer and Illustrator, I spent ten years in advertising agencies and graphic design studios in Rio. With enthusiasm for rock climbing and mountaineering, between 2001 and 2006 I joined Outward Bound Brazil as Field Instructor and Facilitator in Professional Development Programs. In 2006 with other professionals, I developed the Train the Trainer Program for new Outward Bound Instructors in Brazil.
In 2003, with my wife and business partner, I started Aprendix – a consulting company for human and organizational development based in São Paulo. After ten years of hard work and rewarding development, we moved to Canada for a Sabbatical year to refresh and recycle. Since 2013, I am living with my family in Nelson, British Columbia. In 2016, I graduated with the Interdisciplinary Diploma of Peace Studies, Business Administration and Digital Arts at Selkirk College. From Nelson I have been working with clients from Canada and Brazil, developing websites, logos and offline/online advertising campaigns.
