Social Media Classes in Banff

0

I will be facilitating a series of six social media classes in Banff, starting on October 16th until Nov 20th (every Tuesday, with two options for you: 9:30 am – 10:45 am or 11:45 am – 1 pm). The price is $18 + GST or $70 for all six sessions.

The idea is to cover a bit more than the basics for Facebook Pages and Profiles, Pinterest, Twitter, Google+ and blog. Definitely a hands-on course, so bring your laptop, and I will try my best to answer all your questions during the short time we will be together.

Facebook Pages – Starting with a proper set-up, we will go over the new features on Timeline, including suggestions on what to post, how often etc.

Facebook Profiles – Why do you need a profile to create a page? How can you preserve your privacy while working on Facebook Pages for clients or your employer?

Do you have a blog? – Why blog? What to blog about? How to set up a free blog? How often should you post and how to share your content are some of the questions that we aim to answer.

Pinterest – With the amazing numbers that Pinterest is achieving in the social media world, you can’t ignore it anymore! Not that you want to ignore it as, above all, Pinterest is FUN!

Twitter – The perfect news source, Twitter is full of its own language and if you don’t master it, you will get easily lost on the twitter-verse.

Google+ – The ex-Apple evangelist Guy Kawasaki is such a huge fan of Google+ that he wrote a book called What the Plus! Hangout, circles and finding people with the same interests as you are what this course is all about.
